"John Randall" is listed as a 77-year-old gentleman in the 12th Ward of New York City in the 1850 United States Census. The death notice for "John Randall, Esq." in The Evening Post indicates that he died on November 5, 1850, "in the 79th year of his age" (The Evening Post, New York, N.Y., November 6, 1850). A petition for probate for "John Randall" of New York City was filed with the New York County Surrogate's Court on January 3, 1851 (New York County Wills Liber 91, p.377).

RANDALL, ____ (Mrs.) John Macdonald noted that Mrs. Randall was residing on 116th Street in Harlem at the time of her interview on September 9, 1848. She is likely a relative of interviewee John Randall (identified as "Mr. Randall" by John Macdonald), who also resided on 116th Street. John Randall's wife, Mary Randall, is listed as a 50-year-old resident of the 12th Ward of New York City in the 1850 United States Census.

REED, Enos K. Enos K. Reed is listed as a 37-year-old hatter in the Town or North Salem, New York, in the 1850 United States Census. His tombstone in June Cemetery in North Salem indicates that he was born on August 13, 1813, and died on October 19, 1891 (WCHS Book #42, p.36).
