ROMER, John John Romer was a son of Jacob Romer and Frena Haerlager, and was the husband of Leah Van Tassel. He is listed as an 86-year-old farmer in the Town of Greenburgh, New York, in the 1850 United States Census. His tombstone in the Elmsford Reformed Church Cemetery in Elmsford, New York, indicates that he was born on November 10, 1764, and died on May 27, 1855 (WCHS Book #6, p.4).
RONALDS, William R. William R. Ronalds was a grandson of James Holmes, who began the Revolutionary War as an officer in the American service but later changed his allegiance to the British. Ronalds' death certificate indicates that he died in Brooklyn, New York, on September 14, 1884, aged 70 years and 3 months (Kings County Death Certificate 1884 9941).
ROWELL, Daniel Daniel Rowell told John Macdonald that he was born "in July in (about) 1775."

RUNDLE, Saran Saran Lyon Rundle, who John Macdonald referred to as Sally Randall, was a niece of Mary Sniffen. Mary Sniffen was killed during the Revolutionary War in Rye, New York, when traveling from a party from Greenwich, Connecticut to New York City. Mary's mother, Eunice Sniffen Lyon, was Mary's sister. She is listed as a 59-year-old resident of the Town of Rye, New York, in the 1850 United States Census. Her tombstone in Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye indicates that she died on February 25, 1863, aged 74 years (WCHS Book #15, p.2).
