Webb) Betsey Webb was referred to as "Mrs. Webb (born Pell)" in her interview of September 5, 1844. She is listed as "Betsy Webb," a 65-year-old resident of the Town of Pelham, New York, in the 1850 United States Census. The tombstone of Betsey Webb in the Ferris Family Burial Ground in Bronx, New York, indicates that she died on May 19, 1860, aged 73 years, 5 months, and 9 days (WCHS Book #17, p. 53).

WEED, Jacob T. Jacob T. Weed is listed as 46-year-old taverner in the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut, in the 1850 United States Census.

WEEKS, Abraham Abraham Weeks was a brother of interviewee Benjamin Weeks. John Macdonald indicated that Weeks was 82 years old at the time of his interview on October 19, 1848. He is listed as "Abram Weeks," an 83-year-old farmer on the Town of Yorktown, New York, in the 1850 United States Census.

WEEKS, Benjamin Benjamin Weeks was a brother of interviewee Abraham Weeks. John Macdonald indicated that Weeks was 76 years old at the time of his interview on October 19, 1848. He is listed as a 77-year-old farmer on the Town of Yorktown, New York, in the 1850 United States Census. A petition for probate was filed with the Westchester County Surrogate's Court on September 11, 1855 (Westchester County Wills Liber 37, p. 190).

WETMORE, Elizabeth Bush Elizabeth Bush Wetmore told John Macdonald that she was in her 88th year at the time of her interview on December 6, 1848. She is listed as "Elizabeth Whetmore," an 89-year-old resident of the Town of Rye, New York, in the 1850 United States Census.
