WETMORE, Elizabeth Bush Elizabeth Bush Wetmore told John Macdonald that she was in her 88th year at the time of her interview on December 6, 1848. She is listed as "Elizabeth Whetmore," an 89-year-old resident of the Town of Rye, New York, in the 1850 United States Census.
